Live from Music Row Friday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael to the studio gives examples of things today that don’t make sense in the world of a Biden presidency.
Leahy: We are joined as we almost always are at 6:30 am, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael. Crom, good morning.
Carmichael: Michael, good morning, sir.
Leahy: We were talking during the break about how weird everything is these days. It’s just everything is upside down and out of kilter, it seems to me.
Carmichael: We talked last time on Wednesday about the grifters. And one of the grifter groups is The Lincoln Project. It turns out they raised almost $90 million and nobody can figure out where that money was spent.
Leahy: Some of it apparently was spent to help John Weaver.
Carmichael: What I’m saying is they have accounted for about 30. 30 of the 90 million.
Leahy: Where’s the other 60?
Carmichael: That’s what they don’t know. And now we’re finding out that John Weaver had back taxes and had bank loans that were called. Same thing with other members of the group. So what we’re finding out is that these truly were people who are grifters. They go out to the people who are supposed to be giving them money and they represented that they were going to use it to attack Trump. And what they did was they used it to make themselves rich and cover their debts. Even Steve Schmidt since the McCain rally said he hadn’t made hardly any money.
Leahy: Really? I didn’t know that.
Carmichael: Yeah, I’m not saying that he was in debt. What I’m saying is the story was that he hadn’t made a lot of money. And then Rick Wilson had his problems and John Weaver had his problems. We’re talking back taxes here where they end up settling. And we’re talking years of back taxes and in other words, it’s not like a six-month-old problem. It’s a multi-year problem. Now we’re learning about this police officer Sicknick.
He didn’t die of blunt force trauma, which what the media has been reporting over and over. Here’s what they said. A Trump supporter hit him in the head with a fire extinguisher. And so we now know that the autopsy was done doesn’t show blunt force trauma. So now they’re claiming that it was some kind of an inhalant like a bear spray or something like that. This was what Mark Steyn was reporting last night. But yet the autopsy has not come out. It’s been 30 days.
Leahy: An inhalant?
Carmichael: Somebody sprayed like bear spray on him and it got into his lungs and killed him. Bear spray doesn’t kill a person anyway.
Leahy: It doesn’t make any sense.
Carmichael: The whole story makes no sense. And then it’s been repeated that we know a Capitol Hill police officer shot that woman who is a 14-year veteran. We don’t know if that person has been indicted. And we know she was unarmed because that’s all on video. And so now you have the story of Andrew Cuomo.
It was reported last night that his secretary actually now has a story that’s come out that she is admitting that Andrew Cuomo oversaw a vast cover-up and that they lied to the officials on nursing home deaths. And that it was much greater and much longer than they had reported. This means that Andrew Cuomo, if that story is true, then Andrew Cuomo knowingly sent people to their deaths.
Leahy: Does that secretary have a personal protection detail?
Carmichael: I hope she does or he does. I don’t know the name. But this was also reported last night. And now you have the Biden administration saying that they’re not going to do anything about the Confucius institutes that are all across the country. And we know that the Chinese have used their positions on various college campuses to steal intellectual property. Under the Trump administration, we had at least a half-dozen. Americans on college campuses who were arrested for stealing and providing intellectual property to the Chinese.
And one thing a communist country is incapable of doing is it is incapable of producing substantial amounts of intellectual property because creating a real valuable intellectual property is done by people who are really thinking well outside the box and they are not marching on the same road as everybody else. Well, the Communist Chinese Party controls its people. It allocates resources. And so a true out-of-the-box thinker is not going to be allowed to do their work in China unless the out-of-the-box thinking has a military application. That would be about the only thing.
Leahy: But wait there’s more. (Chuckles) This is an AP story. Dateline San Diego. The Biden administration on Friday announced plans for tens of thousands of asylum seekers waiting in Mexico for their next immigration court hearings to be released in the United States. Released in the United States while their cases proceed.
The first of an estimated 25,000 asylum seekers in Mexico with active cases will be allowed in the United States on February 19th authorities said. They plan to start slowly with two border crossings. Processing up to 300 people a day and a third crossing taking fewer. There’s no indication here if any of these people have been tested for COVID-19.
Carmichael: No. Here’s what we know. We know under the law of large numbers that if you just let a bunch of people in that you’ve not checked on, you know, that within that group are going to be some people who have committed murder. You know that. I’m not claiming that everybody who’s admitted as a murderer. But you know that within the law of large numbers they’re going to have that.
And we know that because of the illegal immigrants who are here in the country a number of them have committed murder. We know that they’re rapists. We know that a real problem across the southern border is sex trafficking. We know these things. We know that China makes Fentanyl. and sends it to Mexico. It’s a killer. So comes it comes into the United States through Mexico. We know these things are happening.
And we know the last one is happening in very large numbers. And over 50,000 Americans die a year. By the way, more people die a year from illicit overdoses. I’m not trying to stand up for Oxycontin. Oxycotin is not what people die from. Oxycotin might start you on a painkiller and then you end up on an illicit drug and that is what kills you. 50,000 people a year are dying in the United States.
That’s as many as died in the Vietnam War for the entire war. But we’re having it every year. Does Biden care? Apparently not. apparently, it’s the opposite of caring. Apparently, he’d liked to see that number escalate because his policies are going to result in more Fentanyl coming into this country.
Leahy: Here’s a fact. A report in that Associated Press story. Asylum seekers, that’s the 25,000 are going to let in the United States, will be tested for COVID-19 before entering the U.S. notice the verb tense there. Will be tested. Meaning they have not yet been tested. I’ve documented all of the health protocols for refugee admissions here and I can tell you they have not been the best. I am very skeptical that they will be testing these people.
Carmichael: By the way, illegal immigrants come across the border in large quantities. that’s part of the beauty of the fence. The number of illegal border crossings toward the end of the Trump administration in his last 18 months had dropped dramatically from what it was under Obama. Biden’s policies are inviting. Because they’re also going to pay for healthcare. You get free health care. If you’re an illegal immigrant and you get to this country you get free health care.
Leahy: Just make it across the border.
Carmichel: Just make it across the border and we will give you stuff. It’s as if the Democrats want to destroy the country. It’s as if they are working at the behest of the Communist Chinese Party.
Leahy: You said something important there. You said as if.
Carmichael: Yeah.
Leahy: I don’t think it is as if.
